  • Compensation & Benefits: research and development of compensation and benefits package to be offered to your candidate. Consulting services may also include recommendations respecting additional “perks” to be offered to the candidate.
  • Employment Agreements: based on recommendations and advice of legal counsel, we will draft an employment agreement tailored to your requirements and encompassing required Employment Standards legislation. 
  • Policies & Procedures: based on current policies, written or understood, we will prepare employee policies and procedures documents specific to your requirements and consistent with Employment Standards legislation. Policies may include: holiday policy, sick time, internal reporting requirements, eligible expense/travel policies, dress code policy, email and Internet usage policy, etc.
  • Performance Measurement: ideally, you want to utilize customized preformance review and assessment tools to optimize employee performance. We can prepare this documentation and provide a "how to" guide for conducting effective performance reviews to maximize employee productivity.
  • New Employee Orientation: develop a new employee orientation package to ensure the person you hired understands expectations at the outset and feels welcome. New employees are more likely to be retained if the orientation process is well planned and thorough.  
  • Offer of Employment: presentation of employment offer to candidate to include negotiation of hiring details (start date, salary, etc.).
  • Job Descriptions: preparation and review of job descriptions outlining key areas of responsibility.
  • Employee Dismissal: our H.R. consultants can provide advice and recommendations respecting appropriate handling of employee dismissals and termination documentation. We can also provide referrals to labour and employment lawyers respecting termination issues.
