Augustine is an Enterprise Accounting Specialist at F.H. Black & Company CPA Inc., where he brings a strong background in accounting, finance, corporate strategy, and operational processes. His career has included experience in corporate finance, investment management, financial process improvement, and day-to-day accounting operations. Prior to joining F.H. Black & Company, Augustine held roles with organizations including AIICO Capital, AXA Mansard, Loblaw Companies Limited, and Accenture, where he developed a practical and well-rounded approach to financial analysis, business operations, controls, governance, and advisory work.

Augustine’s academic and professional journey reflects his long-standing commitment to learning and growth. After graduating with First-Class honours, he went on to earn a Master’s degree in Accounting. Throughout his career, he has been especially drawn to using data, process improvement, and financial insight to support stronger decision-making. One of his proudest professional accomplishments was helping transform an unprofitable insurance portfolio into a profitable one by leveraging data analysis and performance insights.

Outside of work, Augustine enjoys music, financial markets, and spending time outdoors. He has a love for singing and was part of his seminary choir during his high school years. He also enjoys following the markets and often spends his evenings watching Bloomberg. Each summer, Augustine looks forward to visiting Manitoba farms with friends, enjoying the drive outside the city and bringing home fresh local products.
