Customer Service/Dispatcher
F.H. Black & Company is working with a leading family-owned HVAC business in Winnipeg to find a Customer Service/Dispatcher who can serve as the vital connection between customers, field personnel, and internal departments. This role combines exceptional customer service with efficient scheduling and dispatching, ensuring smooth operations and satisfied customers in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
What You'll Do:
Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and emails with professionalism and efficiency.
Coordinate call schedules and ensure accurate completion of job costing documentation.
Schedule and dispatch field technicians based on availability, location, and priority requirements.
Monitor and adjust schedules throughout the day to handle delays, emergencies, and last-minute requests.
Communicate effectively with field staff regarding job details, special instructions, and important updates.
Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely, courteous manner that builds loyalty.
Maintain customer records and update contact/account information using company systems.
Follow up with customers to confirm service satisfaction and gather valuable feedback.
Provide support to active customers experiencing equipment-related issues.
Communicate via email and text to deliver timely updates and assistance.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years customer service experience, preferably in a service-based environment.
Microsoft Office 365 proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
HVAC or dispatch experience is a valuable asset.
